  • Are chicks sexed?

    No. All of the chicks we sell are straight run.

  • Is there an order minimum?

    Yes! We require a minimum of 5 chicks ordered to ship. This is due to a couple reasons. Chicks thrive better with other fluffy friends and during shipment stay warmer when huddled together.

  • Do you sell hatching eggs?

    Yes, all hatching eggs available for purchase are listed under products on our website.

  • Do you ship everyday?

    No, we only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure chicks are not left stranded at the post office on the weekend.

  • Can I pick up my order?

    Yes! Contact us before placing an order and we will arrange a pickup time when your order is ready.

  • What egg shade do you hatch from?

    We only hatch from 6 to 9s on the Marans egg color chart.

  • Chicken math got the best of me, do you take any returns?

    No. All orders shipped are final. We take biosecurity very seriously. We do not bring any outside birds in that have not been screened properly.

  • Will my order of chicks be delivered to my house?

    No. Chicks will be held at the post office where you live. Please make sure to add your phone number when ordering. When your chicks arrive at the post office, they will contact you.

  • Is your breeding flock humanely raised?

    Yes! Our flock we use for breeding is pasture raised. We use high fencing that is mobile to keep them in. When the grass is worn down, we move the fence to fresh untouched grass. Most breeders do not let their flock graze on fresh grass. Instead they are left in overcrowded pens.

  • Do you ship to Alaska or Hawaii?

    No. We ship chicks to the remaining 48 states only.
